More about privacy

When you speak, your voice is processed live by the voice service to create a text transcript.
Before you submit, your answers exist only in this browser tab — refreshing or closing it may lose them.
Your answers are sent to an AI service to run the conversation. Discarding stops the interview, but cannot undo processing that service has already carried out.
Please describe your work in general terms. Do not share names or personal details of clients, beneficiaries, patients, donors, children or colleagues, or details of safeguarding matters.
Nothing is automatically emailed or shared with anyone else. You will not receive a personal analysis or report.

Why this information is collected: Your submitted written answers help James understand your work and set priorities for the Melanoma Focus AI training.
Lawful basis: Legitimate interests (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)): preparing relevant training. Taking part is optional.
Who can see transcripts and analyses: James Shamsi can read the written transcript you explicitly submit in his private training admin view. Nothing is automatically sent to Melanoma Focus or other people.
How long it is kept: Submitted transcripts, related private analyses and any optional contact details are deleted 90 days after submission.
Service providers: OpenAI (runs the voice and text conversation), Supabase (secure storage) and Vercel (website hosting). OpenAI processes kept text and live voice audio. This app does not save raw audio recordings.
Where it is processed: Answers are stored in the UK (London). OpenAI and Vercel may process data in the US under standard contractual safeguards.
Your rights: You can ask to see, correct or delete your answers, or object, by emailing jamesshamsi@gmail.com. You can also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
